The Netflix platform continues to work on the highly anticipated second season of One Piece. While the work for the new season cast of the series continues, another surprise name has been included in the production adapted from Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga.
One Piece will include Bridgerton’s favorite actor in the new season
According to information from Netflix, Charithra Chandran, star of Bridgerton, another popular series on the platform, will join the second season of One Piece as Miss Wednesday.
Charithra Chandran is the latest addition to the cast of the new season of One Piece. Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha, Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk, Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, Brendan Sean Murray as Brogy, Callum Kerr as Smoker, Camrus Johnson as Mr. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David D as Mr. 3. 5, Clive Russell as Crocus, Daniel Lasker as Mr. 9, David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, Julia Rehwald as Tashigi, Rob Colletti as Wapol, Ty Keogh as Dalton and Werner Coetser as Dorry.
In addition, it has been confirmed that many of the actors from the first season of the series will be back on screen in the new season. These include Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
Unfortunately, the release date for season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece series is unknown for now. But it was announced that filming started about two months ago. Filming is currently underway in Cape Town, South Africa.
